Chapter 3

The car symbolized Gatsbys wealth. Gatsby had the most money out of everyone in East and West Egg. He was known for his expencive cars. He would use them to transport people to and from his parties like it was a taxi. Gatsby throws a lot of parties at his house, some of the people he does not even invite, they just show up. His best car was his Rolls Royce.

This chapter also focuses on the gossip that the
people in the book spread. Almost everyone in this book have started, or contributed to the gossip.
Rumors are spread about almost everyone. Especally Gatsby. One of the rumors spread about him is that he killed someone before he moved to west egg.
